Living with multiple co-morbidities (Focus Group)

Rebecca Hays, Research Associate, from the Institute of Population Health at The University of Manchester shares her experiences accessing Help BEAT Diabetes support.

“I work for the multimorbidity theme of the National Institute for Health Research Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre.

“We were looking for people to join a Patient and Public Involvement Group. The Help BEAT Diabetes team contacted a number of their members in the Greater Manchester area to let them know about this opportunity. We quickly received a number of expressions of interest from suitable people.

“The process was very simple and it helped me recruit some people we may not have been able to reach otherwise. Thank you!”
