BELOW PPIE Group

This project will establish a PPIE (patient and public involvement and engagement) group to advise on a study investigating a new physiotherapy treatment for low back pain.

Researchers have developed a new physiotherapy treatment for low back pain called cognitive muscular therapy (CMT).  It combines training to improve posture with techniques to help people think differently about the pain they experience.

This project is being carried out by a team of researchers based at the University of Salford.

This study has ended and is currently not accepting new applicants.
