KOKU PPI Group

This project is looking to bring together a group of people to provide feedback on the design of a study looking to increase physical activity for older South Asian adults.

The research study will use an NHS-approved digital activity programme called ‘Keep-On-Keep-Up’ (KOKU), which can be installed on an iPad/tablet.  The programme is designed to support people aged 65 and over and this study will assess it’s suitable for use with South Asian people and incorporate message options for Hindi and Urdu speakers.

It is being carried out by a research team based at The University of Manchester and is funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM).

This study has ended and is currently not accepting new applicants.
