PeRSEVERE

This consultation will gather public opinion on draft principles to support patients who wish to withdraw their consent from a research study.

It is part of the PeRSEVERE project (Principles for handling end-of-participation events in clinical trials research) which aims to help make sure that the right to withdraw informed consent is put into practice in a way that protects both individual participants’ rights and the quality of research.

The project is being carried out by researchers at the University of Leeds.
